Big Week Coming Up!

While at the mall today to get Elder Martinez a new pair of shoes a guy
offered to draw a caricature of us for free, so why not!?
A sister in our zone made me this planner cover because she said that
the guy she put there (from a pic in the Ensign) looks like me :)

So, this week went super well and it all started with our ZTM (Zone Training Meeting). Every month the zone leaders give a training to their zone based off of whatever topic the President feels the mission needs at that moment. We were told to focus on Chapter 1 of Preach My Gospel which is all about "Our Purpose" as missionaries. It went really well, and I even worked in my thought on "salvation" and how we as missionaries need to just focus on progressing and changing our natures, so that was a bonus!

Then during the week we had a miracle with our investigator C. It was 8:45 at night and all our appointments had fallen through, so Elder Martinez and I decided to go check on her to see how she was doing. Right when we showed up we found her locked outside her house and she was trying to unlock a window so she could climb through it to go unlock the front door. Well, her arms couldn't reach the lock, but Elder Martinez's could! So we helped her out, and she said that she knows that God sent us there at that moment, and it was just cool to see her faith grow a little bit right there.

This next week is shaping up to be one of the busiest of my mission! We have District Meeting tomorrow and then on Wednesday we are meeting as an entire mission to receive training from Elder Clarke of the Seventy and Brother Donaldson of the Mission Department on..... IPADS! So within this next week it is looking like we are going to officially become an iPad mission! Then on Thursday we have Zone Conference and Elder Martinez and I have to give training to about 40 missionaries. Then right after the Zone Conference Elder Martinez and I have been asked to go to the Stake Women's Conference of the Las Vegas Stake to go work as translators for the women who only speak Spanish! It's going to be a crazy and hectic week, but it should be a lot of fun! I'll talk to you all next Monday!

Love ya!
